For me it’s kinda cool that my kids go to my alma matar (except for Elle Catherine who technically goes to my dinning room table)…anywho, as I was saying. My kids go to the same high school that I graduated from so that makes cheering for them extra sweet.
Now, I would scream just as loud no matter where they went but screaming for them is just extra sweet.
I have shared {repeatedly} that I LOVE FOOTBALL. I love watching it. I love cheering for it. I love hearing the slap of pads after a great block…and…I love planning outfits to wear to games.
I’m sure that no normal gal puts as much thought into their game day outfit as me…but oh well.
There are a few things to consider when planning your game day attire.
- are you going to dress in school colors (in my case red and black)
or
- are you going to wear something that proudly proclaims who’s team you love like a shirt with a mascot on it.
Both are fun options and I wear both throughout the season.
One of the things I love to do is buy old shirts from past seasons that have been sold with our mascot on them. I will cut those shirts up to make them more trendy and “vintage” looking. I will talk more about this later.
This Friday night…it was HOT…LIKE REALLY HOT. That factored heavily in my outfit choice!
