Product Review: Pantene On the Go Frizz Iron

This isn’t your average straightening iron. Although, it works kinda like one.

Sometimes, no matter how much frizz-control products we use, or how much we might straighten our hair…we have fly-aways or those pesky dead ends that look not so attractive.

**let me interrupt this to say**

I know that this won’t “fix” dead ends.

Those are caused by a breakdown in your hair’s structure that really can’t be healed…especially on the spot. They can be nourished. They can be fed all kinds of good stuff through a variety of awesome products that after some time and lots of care, will help their appearance.

they can be hidden

It’s kinda like Spanx for your hair...those Spanx aren’t really making bulge’s disappear permanently but they do make them disappear for a minute.

So, back to this product…

This uses no heat or water to help manage those fly-aways and dead ends. You can apply it anywhere from your bathroom to your car. It is alcohol free and can be used on all hair types, even curly and color treated. Since it is so versatile, you can carry it in your purse, your gym bag, or your carryon luggage. If you can imagine it…you can use it.

How do you use it?

  • remove the protective cover
  • gently close the the “Frizz-iron” around the strand of hair that needs rescuing and glide the iron down the hair
  • replace the protective cover when finished

Would I recommend this product?

YES!! but let me make a few suggestions.

A little goes a long way so don’t overuse it or your hair will be greasy. I would also NOT apply this to your roots (not even my dry as a desert hair.) Keep it to the ends, my friend.

On Day 1 of hair washing my hair is sometimes full of fly aways, which I really don’t like. In order to combat that, I have been using this product to tame those babies! I’m pleased with the results.

The SMELL of this thing is A M A Z I N G…not surprising since it is a Pantene product and their stuff often smells delightful!

I tried to find a link to purchase but Walmart’s website didn’t offer one. I, did however, purchase mine from Walmart.
