Daddy Daughter Dance Outfit

Processed with VSCO with m5 preset

Girls, this right here! Putting pics of me on Instagram or Facebook or even on this blog is…so…hard. I’m sitting here pointing out all my perceived flaws, all the areas I wish I could change. Why do we do that?

Anyway, here is the outfit I wore for our Daddy Daughter Dance (which was a HIT!)…the dance not the outfit! I will put a link under each picture.

This is the red shirt from my Amazon post last week.

I LOVE it.

For the price point of $17.99 you can’t beat it. It is available in a TON of colors.

I usually wear a medium but I sized up to a large and I’m glad I did. Generally speaking I always size up when ordering from Amazon.

My jeans are old, they are American Eagle. I’ve had these forever and have washed them hundreds of times and they haven’t lost their color. I choose these when I want to wear jeans but in a more “dressy” way. These are the “short” option. I have them in long too, but I find I always gravitate to the short.

If you have never ordered from AE before don’t be scared. Go try on a pair. Size up if you have to…size is really just a number. It’s fit that counts. Anyway, their jeans have LOTS of stretch…seems like they have more and more stretch lately. I’m always on the hunt for comfy jeans; so I will keep you posted.

These heels. Are there enough good adjectives I could use to describe these shoes? Well, yes there are, but I will stick to the one that might be the most surprising. Comfortable…these are by far the most comfortable high heel shoes I have ever worn. They are made my Jessica Simpson. I wore them through the whole dance (I did switch to flip flops afterwards simply because I didn’t want them to get ruined.) I am able to wear them for long periods of time and they simply don’t hurt. They are an investment but for a classic pair of heels, it’s worth it.
